Reliance Jio has come up with a new offer called the Jio Football offer. Under this offer, the telecom operator is offering its customers with an instant cashback of Rs 2,200 on buying a new 4G smartphone. Interestingly, Jio will offer the Rs 2,200 cashback on buying a 4G smartphone of any of the below mentioned brand. It is also noteworthy that the offer is available only on select handsets by a particular brand, let's take look at the full list of eligible 4G smartphone for the Jio Football offer.
advertisementOf particular note in the offer is the Jivi Energy E3, a 4G smartphone that now has an effective price of Rs 699 when combined with the Jio Football offer. The actual price of the phone is obviously higher. It sells at an MRP of Rs 2,899. But when you buy it along with the Jio Football offer, you get a Rs 2200 cashback in the form of recharge vouchers. That makes the price of the Jivi Energy E3 Rs 699. It's not a bad deal considering the fact that the phone supports 4G and is a smartphone. It comes with Android Marshmallow 6, has a 4-inch screen, a quad-core processor with speed of 1.3GHz, 5-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.
The key goal of introducing this offer is to provide maximum data and voice calling benefits to the Jio users. Under the new 'Football Offer' Jio is offering an instant cashback of Rs 2,200 to customers who buy a 4G smartphone from a particular brand (eligible brand names mentioned below). To avail the offer, the buyer of the new smartphone will need to activate a Jio SIM in the device itself. The offer is available for both existing and new Jio users. This means, even if you are an existing Jio user, you'll need to get a new SIM in order to activate it on your new 4G smartphone.
The list of smartphone brands eligible for the new 'Football Offer' includes -- Samsung, Xiaomi, Asus, Motorola, Panasonic, Huawei, Nokia, LG, Micromax, 10.or, BlackBerry, LYF, Intex, Jivi, Comio, Swipe, Zen, Ziox, Celkon, iVooMi, and Centric. It is also noteworthy that the offer is eligible only on select handsets by a particular brand.

The Rs 2,200 cashback will be offered in the form of vouchers, which will be credited to the MyJio App and can be redeemed later while recharging the Jio number. The telecom operator will be providing the eligible device users with 44 cashback vouchers worth Rs 50 each. In order to get the cashback vouchers, the buyer needs to get their first recharge with Rs 198 or Rs 299 plans, after which the cashback vouchers can be redeemed on subsequent recharges with any of the recharge packs by Jio.
advertisementThe Jio Football offer can be availed only if you buy any of the eligible smartphones and recharge with either Rs 198 or Rs 299 plan between February 16 and 31st March 2018. However, the cashback vouchers can be used before May 31, 2022, after which they will be exhausted.
